Hello lovelies! Wow, I’m really failing at the challenge this year…whoops. Life is still a bit busy at the moment, and I’m still trying to figure out where blogging fits in. BUT! I’m ready to play catch up to get back on track with the themes. So, with that being said, let’s get to the yellow nails!
Here is what I used:
Side note: some of the nail art that I’m using for the challenge was painted before my hiatus, so please excuse the random differences in nail length. ANYWAYS! Aren’t these so fun?! It’s been raining since yesterday, but it has me pretty stoked about these sunshine nails haha. The inspiration for the nail art was this painting by Cozy Memories.
- Start by applying two (or three) coats of Going To The Beach.
- Once that’s dry, use acrylic paint and a detail brush to paint on the yellow pattern. I found it easiest to start with the yellow dot and work outwards from there.
- Then go back in and layer a little bit of Wanderlusting over the larger dot.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
And that’s a wrap! Yellow nails aren’t usually my thing, but I was actually really digging this entire look. This pattern will work well in different color schemes too, so I’m excited to mess around with it again in the future. In the meantime though, make sure to leave me a comment down below with your thoughts! Are you a fan of yellow nails or do you avoid them as well?
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! My goal is to get caught up with the challenge over the next couple of days, so keep your eyes out for more posts. Also, don’t forget to visit the other wonderful bloggers down below!
