Oh hello, lovelies! I have one more post to sneak in for you guys tonight! It’s a good thing that I have tomorrow off, because it’s really late…whoops. Anyways, I mentioned earlier that I was sharing my last Christmas manicure with you guys but I lied. Oops. The theme for this past Nail Crazies Unite theme was an ugly sweater, and mine definitely took a turn towards holiday nail art. I promise after this that it’s all new stuff. So, for now, let’s get to the nails!
Here is what I used:
The inspiration for this look came was this post from The Samantha Show! My nails don’t have as many crazy elements as the original, but I’m still quite happy with the outcome. It’s always fun to play with glequins every once in a while too (especially because they’re like the gift that keeps giving. You use them in one manicure and then you get to randomly find them scattered around your apartment for months! Or is that just me? Please tell me this happens to you too so I know I’m not crazy haha!)
- Start by applying three coats of Click Three Times.
- Then using the dry brush technique, add on a little bit of Ginger (press sample.)
- Once the base is dry, use acrylic paint and a detail brush to add on the garland.
- Lay the glequins done into a little bit of wet topcoat.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
And there we have it! I can finally say that we’re done with Christmas nail art until the end of this year (which can totally take it’s time with getting here. Like seriously. It’s already January 2nd, and I don’t even remember what I did yesterday. Hell yes to bumming it all day. I’m going to get so much Netflix watched this year!) Anyways, yeah! Is this an ugly sweater that you would rock? Make sure to let me know down below!
Thank you guys so much for reading! Yay for no more holiday nail art haha!
