Happy Sunday lovelies! Hopefully you guys are all having a nice, relaxing Sunday. Mine is being spent swatching and doing a bunch of nail art, so I’m pretty happy with how my day is going. I’m traveling next weekend, so I’m trying to get as much done blogging wise as I can. Side note: I’m literally the slowest nail painter ever, so this isn’t going well haha. Anyways, the 30 Day Of Colour group took on texture polish this week. So, onto the nails!
Here is what I used:
Now, if you’ve been following the blog for a while then you probably already know that I am not a fan of texture polish. But, I figured I’d be a good sport and make it work for the challenge. Luckily, this set of patterns (sorry I don’t know who the artist is) came to the rescue and made the texture bearable.
- Start by applying three coats of Bay.
- Once that’s dry, use acrylic paint and a detail brush to paint on the random stripes.
- Then go back in with a detail brush and Damsel to add on some polka dots.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
Now, I know I said above that I don’t like texture polishes, but can we just take a second to admire how gorgeous Bay is? Come on Zoya! Where is the non-textured version of this? I would totally buy it in a heartbeat! Anyways, I’m absolutely in love with how these nails turned out! The pattern is so cool and the colors all play really well together, so expect to see this print again in the future. And as usual, make sure to leave me a comment down below with your thoughts!
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! Make sure to check back tomorrow for some fun stuff!
