How is everyone’s weekend going so far? Hopefully it’s been wonderful, and if it isn’t maybe some nails will help 😀
Onto the polish!
Here’s what I used:
This week’s color theme for the challenge is neutral plus a color and my personal prompt was tie dye, so this is what I came up with! I have to admit that I was super worried that these were going to come out looking like crap, but the final result is actually kind of neat.
- Start with two coats of My Vampire Is Buff.
- Then using the other polishes and a detail brush, add on the tie dye swirl. I do this by making a short little marks in a spiral shape and then make sure that each color overlaps the pervious layer.
- Clean up.
- Place the stud (these ones came from Lady Queen and were previously reviewed here) into some wet topcoat.
- Finish with a layer of Glossy Glam.
Kind of weird but still cool, right? I love the pop of the green against the neutrals! I don’t have to worry about wearing work appropriate nail polish at my job (even though I probably should…) but I think this might be something you could pull off if you do have polish restrictions. Maybe just pass on the studs and use a pastel green or just all neutrals? Possibly. Let me know what you guys think!
Thanks so much for reading guys!
