Hello lovelies!

Look whose back with another overdue post…meh…I’ll get it together one of these days. Anywho, last week I posted swatches of some polishes from OPI’s Starlight collection and I promised you guys nail art. Well, here it is!

I’ve kept the polishes in the same order as the swatch post, so first up is Love Is In My Cards! I knew that I had to do at least one floral design, because, well why not? (:

  1. Start by applying two coats of Love Is In My Cards.
  2. Next use a detail brush and acrylic paint to add on the flowers. I placed the pink blobs down first and then swirled red paint in while they were still wet. The leaves were done the same way.
  3. Clean up.
  4. Add a layer of Glossy Glam.

Next up is Two Wrongs Don’t Make A Meteorite!

Coming up with nail art ideas for this polish was tough. I got the idea for a glitter placement design stuck in my head, so that’s what I ended up doing haha. I actually really like this design! I just wish the chevron glitters were cut better so the design was more uniform.

  1. Start by applying two coats of OPI’s Ogre-The-Top Blue.
  2. Then dab some Two Wrongs Don’t Make A Meteorite on a piece of paper.
  3. Use a dotting tool to pick up the glitters and place them on your nail.
  4. Clean up.
  5. Add a layer of Glossy Glam.

Next is Let Your Love Shine!

This is my favorite design from this whole post! I’ve been wanting to do more fall inspired nail art before it starts getting really cold, so these were perfect! The design was inspired by these nails I did a while back.

  1. Start with two coats of Let Your Love Shine.
  2. Use a detail brush and acrylic paint, to add on the leaf shapes.
  3. Add some dots of Let Your Love Shine to each shape.
  4. Clean up.
  5. Add a layer of Glossy Glam.

No macro of these ones, sorry guys. Anywho, moving onto Comet Closer!

Okay, so question time. What do you guys consider elegant nail art? To me, this is a somewhat elegant/fancy look but I’m also the girl who walks around with bright, patterned nails 99% of the time. So, I’m curious to hear your thoughts on the subject! This look was inspired by these nails from my Hey, Darling Polish! days.

  1. Start with two coats of Comet Closer.
  2. Then using a detail brush and acrylic paint, add on the lines.
  3. Clean up.
  4. Add a layer of Glossy Glam.

Next is Super Star Status!

Gah, I can’t get over how sparkly this polish is! This is going to be a popular one for New Years Eve nail art. I didn’t want to cover too much of the base, so I played off of this look that I did for the 31 Day Challenge.

Man, I forgot to take a macro of this design too….whoops. Last up is Give Me Space!

This polish is already basically a galaxy in a bottle, so all I did for this look was add some stars! It’s like a simplified galaxy manicure which is kind of neat. These are similar to this look I posted a while back.

  1. Start with two coats of Give Me Space.
  2. Then use a detail brush and acrylic paint to add on the stars.
  3. Clean up.
  4. Add a layer of Glossy Glam.

And there you go! I hope you guys have enjoyed all of the nail art! I’d love to hear which looks were your favorites. Also, keep an eye out on my Instagram over the next couple of days. There should be some fun stuff posted there featuring polishes from this collection. 😛
