I’m back with part 2 of Squishy Face Polish’s 2014 Spring Collection! This part of the collection has been named the Spring Crellies. This is going to be another picture heavy post (:
Let’s get onto the nails!
We’ll start off today with True Colors!
More after the jump:
True Colors is a white crelly that is filled with neon matte glitters. The are a bunch of different colors including blue, pink, green, purple, yellow, and orange. I’m showing you guys 2 coats of True Colors over 2 coats of Sinful Colors Snow Me White.
This was one of the few polishes that gave me any trouble. The formula of this was really thin and because of this, it didn’t hold the glitters well. I definitely recommend leaving this one upside before you use it and layering it over a white polish like I did. It is a fun polish if you are willing to put in the effort!
Next up is Bed Peace!
Bed Peace is a purple crelly that has a subtle purple shimmer and a ton of different sized purple glitters! My swatches here are 4 coats of the polish on its own.
The glitter in this polish is suspend really well and I had no issues with getting the larger hex glitters out! I do find this polish to be a bit sheer for my taste but if you have shorter nails, this might not be an issue for you. Either way, I love the glitters in this polish! This is a super pretty polish!
Next up is My Unrequited Love!
I’m showing you guys 3 coats of My Unrequited Love on its own. This polish is a white crelly filled with purple, blue, and green hex glitters along with some teal hearts! The glitters came out easily in this polish and I didn’t have to fish for any of the heart glitters.
I’m normally not a huge fan of shaped glitter but I really like this polish! The colors all work together really well and nothing really overpowers anything else. It did get a little think since I wanted to cover all visible nail line and my stained nails but once again, I think if you have shorter nails, this wouldn’t be an issue.
And the last polish I have to show you is Truly, Madly, Deeply!
This is 3 coats of Truly, Madly, Deeply on its own! This is a white crelly filled with black, red, white, and grey glitters of all shapes and sizes. The formula on this polish was great too!
This is hands down my favorite from this half of the collection! The colors and all the different shaped glitters work so well together and I have nothing even remotely close to this in my stash. But if I had to pick one thing that I would change, I would say more red circle glitters!
Here are some macros:
Did I manically rave again today? I think I controlled myself a little better haha. Alice’s polishes are all awesome and are really unique in my opinion. I don’t have anything even remotely close to any of the ones that she sent me to review. I did have some difficulties with True Colors but it didn’t make the polish impossible to use. Remember that these are up on her site along with some new polishes she just released! Here are some of her links:
And another song for today:
Cassade Pope – Torn (Cover)
