Happy Saturday lovelies! Hopefully you guys are all having a lovely weekend! Are any of you guys wishing that you were in New York City today for Polish Con? I didn’t think I’d be bummed about missing it, but seeing everyone’s haul photos and videos is making me sad haha. I thought about going considering it’s only about three hours away from where I live, but NYC is not for me so I opted not to go. But I hope everyone there is having a blast! Moving on though. The Nail Challenge Collaborative is celebrating Spring this month, so let’s get to the nails!
Here is what I used:
Spring time to me basically just means that’s acceptable to paint nothing but floral manicures! Which considering that I love floral prints, I’m totally cool with it haha. This particular pattern was inspired by this Sonia Delaunay textile!
- Start by applying two coats of Flotsam & Jetsam.
- Then add a layer of Disco Ball.
- One the base is dry, add the pattern on using acrylic paint and a detail brush. I found it easiest to paint the white elements first and then go back in with the other darker shades.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
And that’s a wrap! What do you guys think? I’ve been loving iridescent glitter lately, so I’m so incredibly happy with how the base of this look turned out. The glitters in Disco Ball meshed so well with the ones in Flotsam & Jetsam. Plus, it’s a floral design. Anything with flowers on it is going to be a win for me haha! But, make sure to leave me a comment down below with your thoughts!
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! I may or may not have some more nail art up for you guys tomorrow, so make sure to check back to find out!
