Hello lovelies! Wow, look at me. Making posts about being so excited to get back into blogging, and then immediately falling behind with my Digit-al Dozen posts. I was finally able to take some time off of work, but I did not realize how tired I actually was. Most of today was spent cleaning and then napping. But, at least my apartment looks wonderful right now haha. Anyways! The Nail Challenge Collaborative is celebrating the beginning of Spring this month, so let’s get to the nails!
Here is what I used:
Spring is definitely one of my favorite seasons, second only to Fall. Sweaters and warm coffee (aka pop punk crewnecks and anything but pumpkin spice lattes) have a hold on my heart, but Spring means flowers and those have a big place in my heart as well! So, I thought it’d be kind of fun to attempt a one stroke floral look. Why? I’m not really sure, because I don’t own the proper brushes and I’m horrible at it! But, I randomly came across PiggieLuv‘s one stroke tutorial again and decided to go for it anyways!
- Start by applying three coats of Tulip Blossoms.
- Then add a layer of Stardust over top.
- Once the base is dry, use acrylic paint and a semi-flat brush to paint on the one stroke flowers.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
So, what do you guys think? My one stroke flowers don’t even compare to PiggieLuv’s, but I’m not totally hating these! The purple flowers paired really well with the glitters in Tulip Blossoms, and the extra sparkle from Stardust is lovely. That polish might actually be one of my favorite toppers! Anyways, make sure to leave me a comment down below with your thoughts.
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! Make sure to check back later for more nails (:
