Hello again lovelies! I told you I’d be back with more nails for you guys! If you follow me on Instagram (which you really should go check out if you aren’t aka hashtag shameless plug..,) you might have noticed that I’ve recently started working with Sally Hansen for their Color Of The Moment campaign. I didn’t share the first shades with you guys here on the blog, but I thought it might be helpful moving forward to share the swatches for people who might have missed them on Instagram. The last round of polishes featured some super lovely, bright colors for Spring, so let’s get onto the polish!

My thoughts: I’m not a huge fan of pink polish, so this isn’t something that I would have picked up on my own. But, I’m happy to add this to my collection, because you never know when you might need a bright pink! Plus, the formula on this was super easy to work with which is always win in my books.

My thoughts: Ugh. My camera totally butchered the color and I’m super bummed about it, because I really loved this color! Which is kind of weird, because I’m usually not into pinks or corals but this one is beautiful. My photos are showing it brighter and a tad warmer than it really is, but if you ever see this polish in a store BUY IT!

Now, it’s time for some nail art!

I’ve mentioned this before, but whenever I think of Spring, I think of florals. So, seeing that both of these shades were bright, I knew that I had to add a fun, flower print over top! Unfortunately, the two colors kind of blended together in the photos but I swear the base looked really cool in real life.

  1. Start by applying two coats of Tipsy Gypsy.
  2. Then apply liquid latex around your nails.
  3. Use the smoosh technique to add on Electric Pop.
  4. Peel off the latex / clean up.
  5. Paint the flowers on with acrylic paint and a detail brush.
  6. Clean up again if necessary.
  7. Finish with a layer of Miracle Gel Top Coat.

Have you guys ever tried any of the Miracle Gel polishes from Sally Hansen before? I just recently tried them out for the first time, but I’ve been really digging the formula! Some of the shimmery shades can be a bit hit or miss, but so far all of the cream polishes have been great to work with. The Miracle Gel Top Coat is nice too, if you can handle actually waiting for it to dry. I’ve been spoiled by quick drying top coats, but I do find that I have fewer chips when I use the Miracle Gel. If you’ve been hesitant to try this line, I recommend picking up one or two colors because you might actually be surprised with how much you like them. But, make sure to leave me a comment down below with your thoughts on the Miracle Gel polishes!

And as always, thank you guys so much for reading!
