Hello lovelies!

I’m back with another post for you guys! I spent most of my time after work yesterday getting myself organized blogging wise, and replying back to all the emails and comments I missed while I was gone. That’s why there was no post, but I’m back today with another Rocksbox review!

Here’s my “little” (haha jokes) explanation on how it works: Every month for $19, you are sent three pieces of designer jewelry that are picked for you by a stylist based off of an initial style quiz. Once you receive your box, you’re able to wear the jewelry as much as you’d like to “test” it out. When you’re ready for a new box, all you have to do is repackage any jewelry that you don’t want to keep and send it back to Rocksbox (shipping label included.) But, if something strikes your fancy, you’re able to buy the piece for a discounted rate simply by not sending that item back! As soon as Rocksbox gets your box back, you can get another one sent to you and there’s no limit to how many boxes you can get a month. Also, every month you’re given a $10 credit that can be applied to any purchase you want to make during that month. I decided to review each piece of jewelry in separate posts because I think this could become a fun series, so I hope you guys enjoy.

The next item I’ll be reviewing, is the Kendra Scott Sophee Drop Earrings!

I have to admit that I was a little nervous about receiving earrings, because I do have stretched ears (they’re at half an inch for anyone whose curious) and don’t wear earrings anymore. When I took the initial quiz, I mentioned this and that I can only wear dangly earrings by slipping them under my plugs (as shown above.) These earrings are absolutely gorgeous, and I’ve been considering keeping them I liked them so much! They are a bit heavy, but I haven’t worn earrings like these in years so that might just be a personal thing.

I’ve also done some inspired nail art!

blue-gold-framed-nail-art-rocksbox-jewelry-inspired-2The earrings made me instantly think of outlined nails, so that’s what I decided to paint! Luckily for me, this is a style that I actually really enjoy.

2. Add a layer of Liquid Kandi’s Luminosity (swatches here.)

3. Then using a striping brush and OPI’s Love.Angel.Music.Baby, paint the outline around your nail.

4. Clean up.

5. Add a layer of Rica’s Glossy Glam.
