I have something different for you all today, so I’m just going to get right into the post! I was recently contacted by a company called RocksBox to try out a new jewelry, subscription box. This box seemed like a neat idea and a lot of fun, so I wanted to share it with you guys!
Every month for $19, you are sent three pieces of designer jewelry that are picked for you by a stylist based off of an initial style quiz. Once you receive your box, you’re able to wear the jewelry as much as you’d like to “test” it out. When you’re ready for a new box, all you have to do is repackage any jewelry that you don’t want to keep and send it back to Rocksbox (shipping label included.) But, if something strikes your fancy, you’re able to buy the piece for a discounted rate simply by not sending that item back! As soon as Rocksbox gets your box back, you can get another one sent to you and there’s no limit to how many boxes you can get a month. Also, every month you’re given a $10 credit that can be applied to any purchase you want to make during that month. I decided to review each piece of jewelry in separate posts because I think this could become a fun series, so I hope you guys enjoy.
First up is the Gorjana Bali Tube Curve Bracelet!
So, I almost didn’t post that above photo. But I got a new tattoo (exactly a week ago today, which is way it looks kind of gross and swollen) and thought it looked cool with the bracelet. None of my family knows about it yet, so we’ll see how this goes haha. Anywho, I decided to start with this bracelet because it was my least favorite item from the box. The reason for that is because it didn’t fit. Whoops. I probably should have mentioned in my quiz that I have bigger wrists, but I wasn’t thinking about it at the time. Regardless, this is a really pretty bracelet that would look great either on its own or layered with others.
I’ve also done some nail art that I thought would pair well with it!
2. Then add a layer of Delush’s She’s Snowflakey.
3. When that is dry, using a striping brush and OPI’s Love.Angel.Music.Baby to add on the stripes.
4. Clean up.
5. Add a layer of Rica’s Glossy Glam.
While this first item might not have been a huge win for me, I still really like the idea of this subscription box! I love that I get to try all of these different pieces of jewelry with no commitment to having to buy them. But when I do find something I like, it’s super easy to obtain and available at a discounted rate!
Also, the lovely ladies of Rocksbox have provided me with a code to share with you all. By using this code when you sign up, you’ll get a free month of Rocksbox! I may or may not have made a little graphic, because I was a little bored earlier….whoops.
