It’s Friday, which means that it’s time for another Blogger Takeover post! Today the blog will be taken over by the lovely Robin from Roaring Nails! Last week I talked a little bit about the Nerd-Geek Challenge in Frankie’s Takeover post, and Robin was actually the second mastermind behind that challenge. It’s kind of funny how that scheduled out haha. Anywho, Robin is such a sweetheart and I love her nail art, so I’m going to stop talking and let you all get to the post (:
I’m Robin, and I run the nail art blog Roaring Nails. Right now I’m having lots of guest posts over on my blog because I’m doing an internship this Summer and have less time for nails – but when Marisa asked me if I wanted to guest post myself on her blog, I couldn’t refuse!
One of the things that I love about Marisa’s nail art, is that she always does such cute prints – I just adore her animal prints! So the following design seemed very fitting to show on her blog 😉
I did a design based on a pair of very awesome pajama pants I bought recently – it has sharrrrks on it! 😀 I used D’Orleac nr. 44 as the blue base colour, and painted on the sharks with Sinful Colors Snow Me White and Maybelline Tropink. Then I added the accents in the sharks with the D’Orleac again.
I love clothing with a funky print on it (I also looove socks with fun prints on!) so I couldn’t pass up on this pair of pajama pants. Did I mention it has sharrrrrks on it yet? And my love for fun prints on clothing equals my love for fun prints in nail art!
Here’s a picture of my pants and my nails together:
My favourite shark is actually the first one I painted: that big white one on my index finger – he looks so happy to be a shark!
I hope you like this nail art as much as I do! Thanks for having me, Marisa! 🙂
P.s.: lol I’m actually wearing these shark pants again while typing up this post.
Thank you so much for posting today Robin! These nails are SO CUTE! Here’s a link to some of Robin’s social media if you want to check out more from her:
Remember I’m always looking for other guest posts, shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or in my contact form if interested!
