HELLO LOVELIES! Wow. It’s been a bit since my last post, and I’m so sorry that I haven’t been around to give you guys an explanation sooner. I won’t get super into all of it. But, fighting off a “serious” case of blogger burnout on top of a bunch of curveballs that life threw my way, led to me needing a break. Things still aren’t back to being “normal” (and probably won’t be for a while,) but I’m ready to start working my way back into blogging. So, with that being said, I’m happy to announce that I’ll be taking on the 31 Day Challenge again! Yeah, I’m already a little behind, but let’s get to my red nails!
Here is what I used:
Obviously, I had to celebrate my first post back with some floral nail art! Flowers are still my favorite things to paint, so it only seemed fitting haha. This time around I used this vintage, fashion illustration for my inspiration.
- Start by applying two coats of Coco On Canal Street.
- Then add on a layer of Make It Spectacle.
- Once that’s dry, use acrylic paint and a detail brush to add on the floral print.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
And that’s a wrap! This is a fairly simple look, but it’s one that I really enjoyed wearing! So much so, that I actually ended up painting this design twice over the course of my time away. Coco On Canal Street is probably my favorite red polish, so I’ll take any excuse to wear it haha. But, as always, make sure to leave me a comment down below with your thoughts!
Thank you guys so, so much for reading and for sticking around during my little hiatus! It’s going to take me a little while to get back into the swing of things, but I’m excited to be back. So, make sure to check back tomorrow for more nail art!
