Hello lovelies! Do you guys see this? I’m actually keeping up with my Digit-al Dozen posts this week! I’m so excited haha. Initially, I was kind of nervous about this rainforest theme. But, it’s actually been pretty fun and everyone’s manicures have been so neat! Anyways, let’s get to the nail art because I’m super stoked about today’s look!
Here is what I used:
This time around I decided to take a look at some of the different animals that live in the rainforest. Luckily, I came across this close up photo of chameleon skin (that I believe was taken by Kirsty Paterson.) I fell in love with all of the different colors and thought that it would translate perfectly into some cool nail art. Thankfully, I was right haha!
- Start by applying two coats of Brick Sidewalk.
- Once that’s dry, use acrylic paint and a detail brush to paint on the polka dots.
- When the first layers of dots are dry, go back in with contrasting colors to add a little dimension to the spots.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
This was almost my favorite look from this entire week (tomorrow’s nail art just barely beat this one out.) But, it’s kind of shocking, because this is such a simple look haha. Sometimes all you need is a good polka dot manicure in your life though. Anyways, I want to know what you guys think. So, leave me a comment down below with your thoughts and let me know if you would rock this or not!
Thank you guys so much for reading! Don’t forget to check out the other ladies down below and maybe stop back here a little later, because there may or may not be some more nail art coming your way!
