Quick post tonight, because it’s late again. I’m sorry that I’ve been so absent lately /: I realized that I haven’t updated the PTN Facebook in a few days, but I’m starting to feel better and the weekend is almost here! So, hopefully I’ll be able to play catch up.
Anyways, let’s get to the nails!
Here’s what I used:
Today’s look was inspired by this pattern that I believe was created by Moniquilla! I love the watercolor-y like effect that she gets with all of her designs, and wish that I could do a better job of recreating them.
- Start with three coats of Wild Wisteria.
- Then using the detail brushes, paint on the pattern. I started by mixing each of the polishes with a bit of polish thinner (not pictured.) and built up from the lightest details to the darkest.
- Clean up.
- Add a layer of Glossy Glam.
Well these nails might not have turned out exactly like I had hoped, I still really like them! “Watercolor” designs like this aren’t something I normally go for, so it was fun to try something different. What do you guys think? Are you a fan of painterly designs?
