Good evening lovelies! How are you guys feeling about these nighttime posts? I’ve never really been able to figure out what the best time to post is, so I’d love to hear your feedback. And if you’re indifferent to it, that’s cool too haha. Anyways! I talked yesterday about continuing on with the 31 Day Challenge at my own pace, so I’m back here today with my next look. Hopefully you guys are game for some polka dots, because that’s what is coming your way!
Here is what I used:
Not going to lie, this is another design that I’ve had sitting on my computer for a while. Six months to be exact. Dang. Anyways! The bows on these nails were inspired by this print that I believe is by Design Quixotic.
- Start by applying two (or three) coats of Ana.
- Then paint liquid latex (not pictured) around your nails.
- Using the saran wrap smoosh technique, add on Girl, BYE!
- Peel off the latex / clean up.
- Paint on the polka dots and bow with acrylic paint and a detail brush.
- Clean up again if necessary.
- Finish with a layer of Tonic Topper.
So, yeah! What do you guys think? I’m so mad at myself for letting these sit on my computer for as long as I did, because I actually really liked wearing these. Yeah, you read that right. I actually admitted to liking pink nails haha. It’s mostly due to the fact that Girl, BYE! is a stunning polish and I’ve been enamored with flakies lately, so obviously these were going to be a win. Don’t forget to leave me a comment down below with your thoughts though! I love reading them!
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! Enjoy the rest of your night and make sure to stop by tomorrow for more nail art (especially if you’re in need of some spooky inspiration for Halloween :P)
