Good evening lovelies! How has everyone’s Tuesday been treating them? It’s been raining for most of the day here, and it’s making me feel so tired. The power ended up going out for a bit too, which is why this post is coming at you guys so late. But do any of guys know of any indie candle makers? I realized that I don’t own any candles and sitting in the pitch black with nothing but your phone is kind of creepy, so I want to order some! Anyways, you guys are here for the nails. Make sure to prepare yourself for this look, because all eyes are on you 😛
Here is what I used:
See what I mean? This nail art looks back at you! Kind of creepy, right? At least the soft pink base softens the weirdness a bit. The inspiration for this design came from this print by Bianca Cash. Her work looks really fun, so make sure to give her a site a look through! Who knew that running a nail blog would help me find so many inspiring graphic designers and illustrators? Makes me wish that I had time to create more of my own work. Blah for needing sleep.
- Start by applying two coats of Ana.
- Then add a layer of Glass Pink (press sample) over top.
- Once the base is dry, paint on the eyes using acrylic paint and detail brushes.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
And that’s a wrap! What do you guys think? I was absolutely in love with look. The contrast of the odd eyes over the super delicate base is really interesting to me. Make sure to leave me a comment down below with your thoughts though!
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! See you all tomorrow with some more nail art (:
