Hello again lovelies! One more post for today, and then I promise I’ll stop until tomorrow! This is the last day of me triple posting as well, so be excited to catch a break from me haha. Anyways. There is less than two weeks left in October, and I haven’t shared any looks for the Nail Challenge Collaborative! This month we’re posting pink autumn nails, because it’s Breast Cancer Awareness month and it’s Fall. Pink isn’t my favorite color, but the theme is a fun twist on a seasonal manicure so I’m game to play along. Let’s get to my first look!
Here is what I used:
The one good thing about having to wear a color nail polish that you don’t like is that it helps you get rid of some untrieds! Japanese Rose Garden was a gift from a family member and ATV In Aruba is from the VIP bag from Polish Con. These two most likely would have sat in my helmer unloved for months without this theme haha. It’s honestly sad how little my drawer of pink polishes gets opened. Anyways, this print by Julia Badeeva was the inspiration for these nails!
- Start by applying two coats of Japanese Rose Garden.
- Add a coat of Leia over that.
- Then mix a little bit of nail polish thinner in with some of the other pinks and dab the diluted colors on your nails until you reach the desired effect.
- Once that’s dry, use a detail brush and acrylic paint to add on the leaves.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a layer of Glossy Glam.
So that’s, that! I don’t have much to say about this look. It’s alright, but I know that I’d love it more if the base was in a different color scheme. The vine design is nice though, so I’ll keep this in mind for future Autumn inspired nails! But, I’d love to hear what you think of this look! Leave me a comment (:
Thank you guys so much again for reading! You are all the best<3
