Oh hey, guys! I mentioned earlier that I had multiple posts planned for today, but this one is for The Nail Challenge Collaborative. The theme for this month is Pink Autumn, which is the group’s way of bringing awareness to Breast Cancer Awareness month while still posting seasonal manicures. I’ve only gotten one look up this month, but I’m here with another design. So, let’s get to some shimmer!
Here is what I used:
Two pink manicures in one month? This is so weird haha. These nails are even pink and glitter-y! You guys are going to be even more shocked when you find out that I have one more look to share haha. I’m definitely going to be filling my yearly quota of pink manicures in just this month alone. Do you guys have a nail polish color that you can’t stand to wear? I’ll wear it when I *have to* for challenges, but other than that my pink polishes stay in their drawer. Which is kind of unfortunate.
- Start by applying three coats of Mae.
- Add a layer of Sparkling on top.
- Once that’s dry, use acrylic paint and a detail brush to add on the leaf pattern.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a layer of Glossy Glam.
That’s really all I have for you guys right now. I love the design of these nails, even though the line work is a little sloppy. But, I’m not digging the pink polish. You guys probably could have guessed that haha. Can you imagine this look with a blue shimmer-y base, teal glitter and burnt orange leaves painted over top? But I want to know what you guys think! Leave me a comment down below with your thoughts.
Thank you guys so much for reading! I have one more post lined up for you guys, so make sure to check back later!
