This is the last month of the 40 Great Nail Art Ideas challenge and while I missed quite a few prompts back during my blogging break, I still want to try and finish the challenge out strong! So, please bear with me through all the posts this month (I guess multiple posts a day bothers some people? Personally, I like it because it gives me more to read, but that’s just me. I’d love to hear others thoughts on this.)
Anywho, let’s get to the nails!
Here’s what I used:
I’m a little behind since this post should have been up last Friday, but here are my lemon and peach nails! My personal theme was watercolor which is a technique that I used to love doing, but have kind of abandoned lately for whatever reason.
- Start with three coats of Alicia.
- Then using the watercolor technique, dab Burst Of Fresh Flair (previously reviewed here) and Pippa around your nails.
- Once that’s dry, use a detail brush and Tulip to paint on the random circles.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a layer of Glossy Glam.
I have to admit that this isn’t one of my favorite looks, but that’s only because of the color combination. Lemon and peach colors tend to clash with my skin tone, so the two combined was definitely a no go. I’m digging how the base turned out though! Alicia is a stunning polish and I can’t wait to play around with it more. What do you guys think of these? Let me know below!
Thanks for reading guys!
