Good evening lovelies! How was everyone’s holiday?! Or Sunday (if you don’t celebrate?) It was nice to get out of the “city” for a bit, and to see family even if it was only for a short amount of time. If you received any polish as a gift leave me a comment down below, I’d love to hear what you guys got! Anyways, I’m still a little behind on sharing some Christmas themed nail art so bear with me over the next couple of days. In my mind, the holidays don’t end until New Years Day, so I’m justifying sharing these haha. But moving on! Ready for some pastel nails?
Here is what I used:
I have mentioned before that Christmas light manicures are one of my favorite holiday designs, so I had to squeeze one more in for the year! This version features some softer colors and glitter, unlike the super blingy version I shared in the beginning of the month.
- Start by applying three coats of Arctic Nights.
- Using the dry brush technique, add on a little bit of Sons Of Adam.
- Once the base is dry, use acrylic paint and a detail brush to add on the Christmas lights.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
I’m torn on whether or not I prefer the pastel Christmas lights or the brighter version I posted before. Both looks feature such amazing base polishes, so I think it would just be unfair to chose between the two! But, I’m still going to ask which version you liked better. Are you into bright holiday manicures, or more subtle pastel ones like this look? Leave me a comment down below with your thoughts!
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! Check back later for some more nail art!
