Ello lovelies! I totally disappeared again after I said I was going to be back…blah. Last week was a little crazy… I recently joined a new gym and have started taking HIIT classes in the mornings before work (so that’s been kicking my butt and leaving me exhausted.) Plus, I spent the holiday at home with my family and was trying to avoid my laptop as much as I could. BUT! I hope you all had a lovely 4th of July, and are ready for some more paper inspired nail art. Let’s get to it!
Here is what I used:
If you guys have been following along with my (at this point, super late) Digit-al Dozen paper nails, then you’ll already know that this is another look inspired by scrapbooking paper! This paper from Michael’s caught my eye and I immediately knew that I needed it on my nails. Aren’t the little clouds just so stinking adorable?!
- Start by applying two (or three) coats of Cloud Burst.
- Then add a layer of Blizzard over top.
- Once that’s dry, add on the clouds with acrylic paint and a detail brush.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
So, what do you guys think? I’m absolutely smitten with how these turned out! Cloud Burst and Blizzard played so well together, and they made the perfect base for the sleeping clouds. I think my favorite part of this entire manicure though is the blush on the clouds haha. Anyways, make sure to leave me a comment down below with your thoughts! Also, let me know what your favorite source of nail art inspiration is. I already looked through most of Michael’s scrapbooking paper, so ideas for new places to look are greatly appreciated!
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! Make sure to check back later for some more nail art!
