Good morning lovelies! Are you guys ready to take on your Monday? I’m definitely not, but I actually have a good feeling about this week. Not sure why, I just do. Anyways. It’s time for another Digit-al Dozen week, and this month we’re tackling paper inspired nails! Yep, you read that right. Paper. Things are about to get weird, so let’s get to it!
Here is what I used:
I was so nervous going into this week, because I had absolutely no idea where to look for inspiration. But, I’ve been spending a lot of time at Michael’s lately (because someone finally decided to get around to decorating her apartment…it only took re-signing my lease for another year to find the motivation to do it…ANYWAYS.) Michael’s has an entire aisle dedicated to scrapbooking paper, so duh! I found this on their website and thought it would make for some interesting nail art.
- Start by applying two coats of It’s Apple Pie Motherf#*@&%!
- Then using a ripped piece of makeup sponge, dab on a little bit of Aggie.
- Once the base is dry, use a striping brush and acrylic paint to add on the pale blue grid.
- Go back in with the same striping brush and red paint for the accent stripes.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
So, what do you guys think? I usually post my least favorite look for the week first, so you guys can guess my opinion based on that. These aren’t a fail, they just don’t live up to the vision that I had in my head. It’s so frustrating when that happens! But, oh well. Don’t forget to leave me a comment with your thoughts!
Thank you guys so much for reading! Don’t forget to check out the other ladies down below. I know I’m super excited to see what they’ve come up with! Also, maybe stop by here a little bit later because there may or may not be some more nails for you all. Bye!
