Hello lovelies!

I totally disappeared for a little bit…blah! How lame?! I’m actually pretty behind on sharing challenge posts with you all, so you may or may not be getting a ton of posts thrown at you this week. I hope you’re ready 😀

Onto the nails!

blue-teal-fan-brush-clouds-nail-art-bottle-shotI’m going to start with what was supposed to be Saturday’s post and work up until today’s theme. These weather nails were inspired by this painting that I can’t figure out who the creator is….*sadface* Why can’t we leave the sources on people’s work when we pin it? Lame people!

nails, nail art, nail polish, weather, clouds, polish those nails, oh mon dieu 31. Start with two coats of Talia (remember to double up on base coat with this one. I forgot and have some nice, teal staining to prove it….)

2. Then using a fan brush and the other polish colors, begin layering the different colors. Make sure to use horizontal strokes.

3. When the base is dry, use a detail brush and white acrylic paint to add on the clouds.

4. Clean up.

5. Add a layer of Glossy Glam.

The base that the fan brush created was my favorite part, and I’m going to have to remember to use this technique with other colors!
