Good evening lovelies! Wow, this post is going up way later than I planned. Having a day off in the middle of the week really just threw me off, but I’m here now! I mentioned earlier in the week that I didn’t really have any Valentine’s nail art to share with you guys, but I did manage to throw together one look. So, let’s get to the hearts and lovey dovey stuffs!
Here is what I used:
Boom! No lovey dovey stuff here haha. But, really. “No” is one of my favorite words, so it only made sense for me to declare my love for it today. See what I did there? (;
- Start by applying two (or three) coats of Falling For Hue.
- Add a layer of Make A Spectacle on top.
- Once that’s dry, paint on the hearts with black acrylic paint and a detail brush.
- Go back in with white paint and a smaller brush for the typography.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glitter Glaze.
I’m not really sure this post is making much sense, but I’m going to keep rolling with it because I don’t know what else to write. So, yeah. This is my ideal version of conversation hearts! Aren’t they cute? I don’t even like the conversation heart candies, but I would totally eat them if they looked these! On a more serious note, this was actually a really fun design to wear and I can definitely see myself recreating it in the future. But, make sure to leave me a comment down below letting me know what you think! Also, what did you wear on your nails for the holiday?
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! I’m aware this post is definitely anti-Valentines, but I hope you all had a lovely day and were able to enjoy yourselves!
