Good evening lovelies! Wow. It’s been almost a week since my last post. I needed to take some more time to myself, but I’m excited to be back to blogging! Work isn’t slowing down anytime soon, but I’m hoping to get back into my regular schedule soon. Until then, I have a ton of fun things to share with you guys! So, let’s cut the rambling and get to the polish. First up are some FitBit inspired nails!
Here is what I used:
February’s theme for the Nail Challenge Collaborative is all about new beginnings. It’s the last day of the month, and I’m still confused by this one haha. But, I decided to go along the same lines as my first manicure (which was inspired by my gym shorts,) and do some nails inspired by my FitBit band! I’ve had my Flex for almost a year now, and I would love to stay that it’s made walking five miles a day part of my daily routine. But yeah. No. I go through stages of paying attention to my steps and then there are other times where I don’t bother. Sarah (from 25 Sweetpeas) and I have been doing challenges together lately, but she kicks my butt every week so I’m not sure how much of a challenge it actually is for her haha. But, I am trying to get back into walking more again, so that’s where the new beginnings part comes in!
- Start by applying two coats of What Band Is Next?
- Then add a layer of The True Diamond on top.
- Once the base is dry, use acrylic paint and a detail brush to add not the roses on top.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
But, that’s a wrap! I’m absolutely in love with these nails and I wish I was still wearing them now. Polishes with flakies in crelly bases are my favorite at the moment, and you can never go wrong with a good floral manicure. Make sure to leave me a comment with your thoughts though! Also, if anyone wants to join in on Sarah and my FitBit challenges, shoot me an email or Facebook message (:
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! Make sure to check back later for more nail art!
