Hello lovelies and happy Thursday! Today is technically my “hump” day, and I could not be more thrilled about it. I’ve been spoiled by two straight weeks of three day work “weeks,” so I’m trying to enjoy it while I can. But moving on! You guys are here for the nails. Last month, the Nail Challenge Collaborative group tackled neon nails and I have one last look to share with you all!
Here is what I used:
The weather is still really warm here, so it’s still appropriate to share some more neon nails! This inspiration for this look was this photograph by Claire Benoist. The way that the neons layered over the black and white pattern really caught my eye, and I’m stoked that it translated well into nail art!
- Start by applying two coats of Genesis.
- Then add a layer of Fairy Dust.
- Once that’s dry, add on the black dots with acrylic paint and a detail brush.
- Then dry brush on Poppy (previously reviewed here,) Sun Worshiper and Funky Yellow.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
This is another look that I was absolutely smitten with! So much so that I ended up wearing these for about a week. But, the best part of this pattern is that it’s super versatile and will work well with other color schemes. Plus, this design was quite quick to accomplish so it’ll be great when I’m in a hurry. Make sure to leave me a comment down below with your thoughts though! Is this a design that you would attempt and what color combination would you use?
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! Don’t forget to check back later for some more nail art!
