Oh hello…again…two posts in one night?! That’s crazy and something that never happens here at PTN (also, not sure why I keep referring to my blog in the third person…but ignore that.) I’m in the mood to do some writing (probably because I have other *legit* work that I should be doing..,) so I thought I’d put up another post! The 26 Great Nail Art Ideas Challenge recently started up, and so far I’ve been late with every prompt (all two of them,) but that’s what I have for you now. Halloween might be over, but I’m still rocking ghosts on my nails!
Here is what I used:
Aren’t these little guys so cute?! I know I’ve mentioned it before, but ghosts are my favorite things to paint for Halloween nail art. But, by switching out some colors and using bright, glittery polishes instead of vampy ones, you can now rock them year round! The inspiration for these ghosts came from this print by Minakani.
- Start by applying two (or three) coats of Amygdala (previously reviewed here.)
- Add a layer of Iocaine Powder over top of that.
- Once that’s dry, use acrylic paint and a detail brush to add on the ghosts.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
And that’s a wrap on Halloween nail art for this year! It’s still too early (at least for me) to start thinking of Christmas nail art, but I’m planning on doing a bunch of posts for that as well. But, back to these nails! What do you guys think? Would you rock ghosts all year or are do you think they’re only appropriate for Halloween? Let me know your thoughts!
Thank you guys so much for reading! You are the best<3
