Hello again!

I totally just realized in yesterday’s post I never mentioned what this week’s Digit-al Dozen theme is….wow…high five to me! Anywho, this month we’re paying homage to our nail heroes! This could either be another blogger/instagrammer (like my Crumpet post for day one,) a brand, or a nail tool. I’ve decided to stick with featuring different people, so let’s see if you guys can figure out who today’s post is about!

Onto the nails!

Here’s what I used:

Have you guys figured out what blogger I’m featuring today? If not, it’s Lindsey from Wondrously Polished! She’s the queen of florals and intricate patterns, and I’m constantly in awe of everything that she does. I’ve recreated a bunch of her designs throughout the years (yeah, hi, I’m a creep,) but I knew that I had to do it again for this week!

  1. Start with three coats of Yellow (great name, right?)
  2. Then using acrylic paint and detail brush add on the flowers.
  3. Clean up.
  4. Add a layer of Glossy Glam.

The design that I recreated was this one that she did during last month’s Digit-al Dozen week. My colors look a bit more saturated than hers, but I’m happy with how they turned out! I really like flowers like these, because they don’t take a while to paint. But let me know what you guys think! Did I even come close to Lindsey’s level? (:
