I hope you’re all ready for the start of another week! If not, maybe these Model City Polish swatches will help you get through your day. Onto the nails!
*All swatches shown with one coat of Rica’s Glossy Glam.
First up is Latte! It’s a neutral, holo polish that took two coats to reach opacity! I found the formula to be a little thick, but if you’re careful with your brushstrokes it isn’t that hard to work with.
I have to admit that I’m not the biggest fan of this one. The idea of it is really lovely, and I like how soft the holo is. But the color of it leans a little green on me, and it clashes with my skin tone. Luckily, it looks great with some nail art, so stay tuned 😛
Next up is Wrapped In Wool!
This holo, grey polish is filled with silver, holographic glitters and takes two coats to reach opacity. The formula on this was really easy to work!
Gah, this polish is seriously so pretty! I may or may not have already put it on my list of top polishes for the year…..back in January….I definitely think everyone needs this in their collection!
Now, it’s time for some nail art!
- Start with two coats of Latte.
- Then using acrylic paint and a detail brush (Pure Glamor #1 & #3) add on the pattern.
- Clean up.
- Add a layer of Glossy Glam.
Last up is the Wrapped In Wool nail art!
Here are some bottle shots:
It looks like only Wrapped In Wool is currently still available in her Etsy store, and it retails for $11 a bottle. You might be able to find Latte in a blog sale though. So far, I’m really happy with everything I’ve tried from this brand and her shipping was really quick (even during a Black Friday sale!)
