Oh hello again! I’m back with some more nail art for you guys! I spent a bunch of time cleaning today, but instead of finishing it I decided to write up another post. Literally all I have to do is sweep, but that’s my least favorite thing to do so yeah. I’m going to continue to put it off haha. Anyways, you guys are here for nails not my ramblings about household chores. So, let’s get to the mixed tape!
Here is what I used:
Ahh, guess who got distracted halfway through writing a post again? Oops. Also, side note. Don’t drop your phone behind the oven, because it’s not fun haha. Okay, back to the nails! Last week the 26 Great Nail Art Ideas challenge called for a mixed tape manicure, so I painted a bunch of cassette tapes because they were the original method of giving someone a mixed tape 😛
- Start by applying two coats of Nessraffisaur!
- Then using the dry brush technique add on a little bit of Schuylkill Banks.
- Once the base is dry, paint on the mixed tape pattern with a detail brush and acrylic paint.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Tonic Topper.
So, that’s a wrap! This was a really fun look to wear, and I’m stoked about how they turned out. Nessraffisaur! is seriously one of the most beautiful polishes and I never remember to wear it. Someone please reassure me that I’m not the only one who forgets about polishes in their own collection. Most people would probably think that’s a sign that I should downsize my collection, but nope haha. Moving on though. Make sure to leave me a comment down below with your thoughts!
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! Enjoy the rest of your night, but remember to check back tomorrow for some more nail art!
