Hello lovelies! Today’s post (possibly posts) are going up so late. Ugh haha. Work has all of a sudden gotten kind of crazy again, and I’m exhausted. But, I wanted to pop on here quickly to share some nail art with you all! I’m still trying to get myself into the holiday nail art *mood* but I think I’m starting to get there with this look. Christmas lights have always been one of my favorite festive designs to paint and this year’s version might be the best yet! So, let’s get to the polish!
Here is what I used:
Can we please take a minute to admire that Femme Fatale polish? And when I say a minute, I mean like an hour. This look is what I wore to work today, and I probably wasted a good hour staring at my nails. The shimmer is so intense that the color shifts with the slightest move of your finger. Polishes like this never used to catch my eye, but now I’m beating myself up over not buying every single one like this! Ugh.
- Start by applying three coats of Mirror, Mirror, On The Wall.
- Then using acrylic paint and a detail brush, add on the black lines.
- After use various colored paints and a dotting tool for the lights.
- Go back in with the black paint and detail brush to attach the lights to the strings.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
I’m not even sure what else to write at this point. That Femme Fatale is just way too distracting and it doesn’t help that I lost my train of thought…whoops. I do know that I want to hear your opinions on this look! Also, if you own any polishes from Femme Fatale, what is your favorite? Leave me a comment down below (:
Thank you guys so, so much for reading!
