Hello lovelies!

Hopefully you all had a lovely weekend! I spent part of my weekend exploring around Vermont, and I loved it so much ? It did snow though, so that kind of sucked but it was fun! But, I’m back with an Indie Weekends Monday post for you all. This time around I’ll be sharing my Loaded Lacquer polishes with you. So, let’s get to the nails!

*All swatches shown with one coat of Glossy Glam.

The first polish I’m showing you guys is Steampunked! This glitter topper is filled with gold, silver, bronze, and black glitters which all vary in shape and size. I’m showing you guys one coat over two coats of Zoya’s Talia.loaded-lacquer-steampunked-metal-glitter-swatch-2How cool is this glitter mix?! Crazy combos of glitter shapes and what not are exactly what drew me into this brand. I do find that it’s easier to dab these on  because the glitters like to stick to each other, but it’s totally worth it!

Next up is Apparition!

Look at all of those glitters! Gah haha! This glitter topper is filled with white, black, and iridescent glitters. My swatches are showing you one dabbed coat over two coats of Zoya’s Hunter.

Aren’t those little iridescent glitters awesome!? I love all of the different colors they show off depending on what lighting you’re in ? Some of the bigger glitters like to clump together, but it’s not a big deal to me.

I have some nail art that I did using the polishes too!

These polishes were kind of hard to figure out nail art for, but I swear that I tried haha. For these nails, I creating different gears inspired by the colors of the glitter.

  1. Start with two coats of Talia.
  2. Dab on a coat of Steampunked.
  3. Add a layer of Glossy Glam.
  4. Use a detail brush to paint on the gears. I used from left to right: Forever 21’s Unnamed, OPI’s 4 In The Morning, Revlon’s Silver Dollar, and OPI’s Love.Angel.Music.Baby.
  5. Clean up.
  6. Add another layer of Glossy Glam.

Next up is some Apparition nail art!

Apparition….ghosts….Halloween……this was an obvious choice haha! Plus, I loved the ghost art that I did for the 31 Day Challenge so I needed to create something similar.

  1. Start with two coats of Hunter.
  2. Dab on a coat of Apparition.
  3. Apply a layer of Glossy Glam.
  4. Then using acrylic paint and a detail brush, add on the ghosts.
  5. Clean up.
  6. Add another layer of Glossy Glam.
