Oh hello again! I told you guys that I would be back with more nail art, so here I am haha. I’ve fallen a bit behind on the 26 Great Nail Art Ideas Challenge, but I’m working to get caught up. Posting challenge manicures late is such a bummer to me. You kind of miss out on the excitement of the entire group sharing their nail art on the same day. Everyone’s interpretations of the themes are always so different, and it’s really inspiring to see all of the various takes on them. But, moving on! I have some abstract nail art to share this time around. So, let’s get to it!
Here is what I used:
Have you guys ever tried combining lilac, pink and gold into one manicure? When I first saw this theme, I was nervous because I didn’t think that the three colors would work together. But, they actually look pretty good! I’m thinking this abstract pattern from Ashley Goldberg definitely helped them out though.
- Start by applying three coats of Leslie.
- Then using saran wrap, dab on a little bit of Reece.
- Once that’s dry, use acrylic paint and a detail brush to add on the gold lines.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Tonic Topper.
So, what do you guys think? I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with this look. So much so that I ended up wearing these for almost a week! That’s basically forever in blogger time haha. Anyways, make sure to leave me a comment down below with your thoughts because I love reading them! Also, let me know if you would ever rock this color combination? Or give me suggestions for new, odd combos to try!
Thank you guys so much for reading again! There may or may not be another post coming your way later today (whoops!)
