Hello lovlies! I’m back with another post for you guys! This time it’s for the Nail Polish Society’s ABC Challenge. I know it’s October, but today was almost eighty degrees out (and my apartment building still has the heat on…) so I thought I’d squeeze in one more sea inspired manicure. So, let’s get to the nails!
Here is what I used:
For some reason I thought this was my first blue manicure of the month, but I looked back and it’s my fourth. Not that it matters, but I always feel weird if a majority of my posts aren’t blue. And I don’t know where I’m going with this because that’s not true, so moving on! The sea creature print was inspired by this fabric created by Jeanne McGee.
- Start by applying two (or three) coats of I Am The Narwhal.
- Then using the dry brush technique, add on a little bit of Wooder Ice.
- Once that’s dry, using acrylic paint and a detail brush add on the pattern.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a layer of Glossy Glam.
I don’t know about you, but I’m loving this look! One, it’s blue. Two, it features a new to the blog indie which is Scofflaw Nail Varnish! I’ve been eyeing the brand for a while now, and finally got the chance to pick up a few polishes while at Polish Con. This is the only one that I’ve tried so far, but I’m impressed by the formula and the mix of shimmers/glitters is beautiful! This post is making me a little sad though, because Philly Loves Lacquer just announced that they’ll be closing shop /: It’s another newer to me brand and I only own a couple, but I’ll definitely hold tight to the ones that I do have. Anyways, what do you guys think? Leave me a comment down below with your thoughts!
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! Make sure to check back later for one more post. Today should be the last day of triple posting, woo!
