Gah, more late posts! At least this time it’s for a better reason than lame internet haha. But I got my first helmer this weekend! Yay! I spent most of today reorganizing my collection, which is why this post is up later than normal. It probably sounds weird that I’m excited about a filing cabinet, but I haven’t been able to get to a good chunk of my collection because of a broken melmer. Now, I can basically re-shop my collection and I reorganized everything by color this time around instead of by brand. So, yeah, I already know that I need another one, because everything didn’t fit but we’ll see how it goes. I’m hoping that I’ll start using polishes that have been forgotten about!
Anywho, let’s get to the nails!
Here’s what I used:
Every single time there is an art inspired prompt, I always go for an abstract look because I’m too scared to attempt to recreate something. This year was no different haha! Today’s look was inspired by this Casa Marina painting by Erin Ashley.
- Start with two coats of My Vampire Is Buff.
- Then use the dry brush technique to layer the other polishes on. The order I used them in is: Love.Angel.Music.Baby, My 2 Cents (previously reviewed here,) Rocky, then Let’s Not Coral.
- Clean up.
- Add a layer of Glossy Glam.
