Good evening lovelies! How has your day been? We’re halfway through the work week and I could not be more excited about it! Work is going to start getting busy again, so I’m trying to take advantage of my weekends for blogging stuff (
and watching Netflix. Working on the blog sounds way more productive, but let’s be real, I can’t resist a good X-Files marathon. Because you know, Mulder.) Anyways, I have some untraditional holiday nails to share with you guys today. So, if you like pink, let’s get to it!
Here is what I used:
My third and final look for this month’s The Nail Challenge Collaborative theme was inspired by another holiday card! More specifically, this one that is linking to the blog, Print & Pattern. I’m not entirely sure if that’s the proper source, but we’ll run with it.
- Start by applying two coats of That’s Crantastic!
- Then, add a layer of Leia over top.
- Once that’s dry, using acrylic paint, Poppy (press sample) and a detail brush add on the pattern.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
This look is totally out of my comfort zone, because you know, pink. You guys probably won’t even believe when I tell you that I wore this look on both hands and out of the house for a day! The base was just way too beautiful for me to not wear these for a little while. I’m not saying that I’ve suddenly changed my mind on pink nails, but wow, layer your flakies guys. It’s seriously magical. I’ll definitely be doing more of it in the future! But until then, let me know what you think by leaving me a comment down below.
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! Check back later for some more nail art (:
