Hello lovelies! Does anyone else feel like this week is dragging? I was totally convinced that yesterday was Wednesday, and then got quite the rude awakening when I realized it wasn’t. Ugh haha. The upside is that after today, we’re only a few days away from the weekend. Woo! But, until then, how about we enjoy some nail art? This week’s theme for the Challenge Your Nail Art challenge is hearts, so let’s get to it!
Here is what I used:
Valentine’s nail art is really not my thing, but you guys will be seeing a little bit this year. And seriously, when I say a little bit, I mean, yeah, it’s like four looks? Hearts are a common theme for this holiday (duh Marisa,) so it made sense that it’s one of the challenge prompts. This particular heart pattern was inspired by this print! Sadly, I can’t find the creator of it.
- Start by applying three coats of Snowbirds.
- Once the base is dry, add on the heart pattern with acrylic paint and a detail brush.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Tonic Topper.
I mentioned above that Valentine’s nail art is not my thing, but man, I love these nails! Snowbirds is such a stunning polish, and I am so incredibly happy that I bought it. If you’re not a member of the Crazy 4 Crellies Facebook group, I suggest checking it out so you don’t miss anymore lovelies like this one! But, back to the nail art. I loved the contrast of the red pattern against the blue and white base, and also the fact that the pattern didn’t hide too much of the polish. I want to hear what you guys think though, so leave me a comment down below with your thoughts!
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! Have a wonderful Wednesday!
