Oh hi. Again. Don’t mind me while I sneak another quick post up. I’m so close to being completely caught up with all of my challenges, and I’m pumped. Hopefully you guys aren’t too sick of me yet. Anyways, I have my final Valentine’s day nail art to share with you guys. So, onto the hearts!
Here’s what I used:
Looking at these nails now, I’m actually not entirely sure if most would classify these as Valentine’s nails. But, I’m going to run with it because they’re hearts. And hearts equals love and the day of love is Valentine’s day. So, I think I just did math? Maybe? You would never be able to guess that I once knew how to do calculus without a calculator…wow. Uh. What does any of this rambling have to do with these nails? Absolutely nothing! So, moving on! This print was inspired by this pattern that I believe is from Roger la Borde.
- Start by applying two coats of 4 In The Morning.
- Once the base is dry, paint the hearts on with white acrylic paint and a detail brush.
- Go back over the hearts with the other polishes.
- Add the polka dots on using a dotting tool.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
And there we have it! I’m not the biggest fan of how these turned out. Mainly because I was super lazy with my polka dots and most of them are all wonky. But, this pattern is a fun take on a traditional Valentine’s day manicure! You could even get away with wearing this one year round, because of the brighter colors. But, let me know what you think. Do you save heart nail art for Valentine’s day or do you rock it whenever? Let me know!
Thank you guys so much for reading! See you all tomorrow for more nails (:
