Good morning and happy Sunday lovelies! I always seem to fall off the blogging train a bit towards the end of the week, so it’s been a few days since my last post. Hopefully this time around I can keep up! But for now, I have some green things to share with you all. So, let’s get to the polish!
Here is what I used:
This month, the Nail Challenge Collaborative is focusing on the color green to celebrate the fact that Spring has arrived! The weather has been pretty chilly here, but it’s so nice to see the leaves growing back and the flowers starting to pop up. So, overall, I’m really happy about this theme. My first look was inspired by this photo of neon lights by Tracy Joecken.
- Start by applying three coats of Toucan Touch This.
- Once that’s dry, use acrylic paint and a detail brush to paint on some random squiggles.
- Then go back over the squiggles with the other polishes (Corpus Callosum was previously reviewed here.)
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
I already stretched the theme a little, but the overall color of this look is green so I’m going to say it counts haha. Toucan Touch This has been sitting in my helmer unloved for a long time. So, I decided that it was finally time to break it out again. It’s formula is staring to get bad, but I’m thinking that more thinner will help with that. The mix of colors in the bright green base created such a fun base for the squiggles on top! But, I’d love to hear what you guys think so leave me a comment down below with your thoughts.
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! Make sure to check back later for some more nail art!
