Today is the 2nd to last post for the Golden Oldie Thursdays challenge. Blah, I’m going to have to figure out what to post on Thursdays now.
Anywho, onto the nails!
I don’t often willingly use red polish in a design but I like this!
Here’s what I used:
I used the same red as last week since I loved it so much, it was great for nail art too. My bottle of Blue Me Away! though is getting so low that it’s hard to work with. I don’t know if I’d buy a replacement bottle though since I don’t like that it stains your cuticles /:
These nails were inspired by this pattern that I found on Pinterest. This design was super easy to recreate! I started with 2 coats of my grey polish for my base. I then took a detail brush and the blue polish and created little dashes followed by dashes made with the red polish. I swear these took like 5 minutes!
I’m really liking where the red polish overlapped the blue dashes. Since the red polish’s formula is more jelly-like it makes purple when over the blue! Woo, color theory!
