Oh hi. Again. Doesn’t this all seem rather familiar? Haha you guys know the drill by now. I’m behind on posts and trying to play catch up, so there will be a bit of double posting happening. Aka you get to read double the amount of my lovely rambling and stare at a bunch of neat nail art. Or not. It’s the internet and you are welcome to do as you please, but I appreciate when you take the time to visit my little corner of the web<3 And moving on, because this introduction really got away from me. This nail art is all about the darkness, so let’s get to it!
Here is what I used:
Last week’s theme for the Nail Crazies Unite challenge was the color combination, silver and gold. I may have stretched the theme a bit, because you can hardly see those colors, but I swear that they are there! The gold flakies got a bit lost in the darkness of Dorothy.
- Start by applying two coats of Dorothy.
- Then add a layer of Maria Luisa.
- Apply a layer of Ice Queen over that.
- Once the base is dry, use black acrylic paint and a detail to paint on the pattern.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
So, what do you guys think? There isn’t an inspiration link to go along with this post, because this was a “winged manicure.” I will say that it’s probably one of my better “winged” looks, because most of my nail fails happen when I don’t have a plan. But subtle patterns and shimmers have been my jam lately, so these nails were really lovely to wear! What have you been rocking a lot recently? Let me know down below!
Thank you guys so much for reading! I’ll see you back here tomorrow (:
