Oh hello again! There may or may not be a little bit of double posting happening this week, because you know. I never got around to showing you guys my last two “get to know me” designs for this month’s Digit-al Dozen theme. So, since I’d like to share them before next month’s Digit-al Dozen week starts we’re going to do it now haha. Anyways, onto the music!
Here is what I used:
Could you guys guess what my fourth get to know me fact is? If not, it’s that I love music! This nail art is kind of abstract, but I was inspired by this HallStitch pattern. If you’ve been following my blogging adventures since the Hey, Darling Polish! days, you might remember that I used to include a song at the end of all of my posts. I’m not really sure why I stopped doing it, but if anyone is ever looking for some music suggestions let me know!
- Start by applying two coats of Showdown.
- Then apply liquid latex around all your nails.
- Once that’s dry, use the smoosh technique add on Giada and Lidia.
- Peel off the latex and clean up.
- Paint the little music bars on with acrylic paint and a detail brush.
- Clean up again if necessary.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
So, what do you guys think? I’m absolutely stoked with how these turned out! Showdown is such a STUNNING polish, and I’m beating myself over not wearing it sooner. Take a quick second to go take a peek at the macro down below. Those green flakies against all the purple is ugh. I don’t even know what to type haha. But moving on, make sure to leave me a comment with your thoughts!
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! That’s all I have for you guys today, but make sure to check back tomorrow for more nail art (:
