Good morning lovelies! So Digit-al Dozen week, yeah, that’s still a thing and I’m unfortunately very behind with it. Whoops. I was seriously so excited to get back into blogging this week, and then I immediately fall behind. Blah. I’m hoping that I can play catch up over the next two days, but I’m heading back home to visit family tonight so no promises. With that being said, I’m back with my second get to know me post and this time we’re talking about my glasses. So, onto the polish!
Here is what I used:
Can you guys tell that I was really struggling to come up with things to share about me? The fact that I wear glasses probably isn’t really all that interesting, but I just made an appointment to get new frames so it was on mind. My eyesight is actually pretty terrible (like I can’t see at all without my glasses on,) and I’m sure that the past couple years of painting tiny patterns on my nails hasn’t helped much either haha! But we’ll see. I will say that I am a little bit of glasses snob and only buy my frames from Warby Parker. But they donate a pair to someone in need for every pair they sell, so that makes me feel better about dropping that much nail polish money on glasses. 😛
- Start by applying two coats of There’s Garlic In His Soul.
- Then add a layer of Make A Spectacle over top.
- Once the base is dry, use acrylic paint and a detail brush to add on the glasses.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
Anyways, this design was inspired by this print by Maria Hartling. This definitely was not the most exciting thing that I could have shared with you guys, but hopefully it gave you a little more insight (hehe see what I did there) into my life. Make sure to leave me a comment down below with your thoughts!
Thank you guys so much for reading! Check back later for some more nail art!
