Oh hello again! It’s super late and yet here I am, still writing blog posts. Spending most of the day in bed is a lovely concept until it gets to be 1 am and you’re wide awake even though all you want to do is sleep…meh. But, I figured why not take advantage of this situation and share more nail art with you guys. This time around it’s all about galaxy nails, so let’s get to it!
Here is what I used:
So, I totally walked away from my computer in the middle of writing this and completely lost my whole train of thought for this post. Welp. Well. It’s now 3:30 in the morning, and I’m still wide awake so why not do some more blogging? One of the themes that the Challenge Your Nail Art group tackled last month was galaxy nails, so here’s my take on it!
- Start by applying two coats of Blanche.
- Then using some ripped up pieces of makeup sponge, sponge on the other polishes (Olaf’s Snowflowers was previously reviewed here.)
- Then using a dotting tool and acrylic paint (not pictured,) add on some small dots for stars.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Tonic Topper.
Welp, these were an attempt at galaxy nails haha. It looks more like a punch of glitter just kind of puked all over my nails, but honestly I’m digging it! Anything that sparkles is sure to catch my eye, so I can’t even be mad at these being a fail haha. But, let me know what you guys think? Do these remind you of a galaxy or Kesha’s TiK ToK days? Make sure to leave me a comment down below.
Thank you guys so much for reading!
