Good morning guys! Can you believe that it is already Thursday? This week flew by and I’m kind of wishing it hadn’t, because I need time to catch up on blogging (and life, but who cares about that? Clean apartments are overrated…) Anywho! I’m still playing catch up so here is my fourth look for the Digit-al Dozen’s fourth birthday celebration. Keep reading to learn more about these squiggles!

Here is what I used:

This time around instead of using four different base colors, I painted four different colored patterns. The inspiration for the squiggles came from this pattern that I don’t really know who the creator is. Insert sad face. The design reminds me of a map, but it seems like the kind of map that wouldn’t make much sense when you try to use it. Which is actually probably what I love most about it haha!

  1. Start by applying three coats of Running Out Of Moonlight.
  2. Add a layer of That Sleigh-Doh.
  3. Allow the base to dry and then, begin painting the squiggles design on using a detail brush and different colored acrylic paint.
  4. Clean up.
  5. Finish with a layer of Glossy Glam.

I’m on the fence on whether or not I love this manicure. Don’t get me wrong, I definitely like it but I’m not sure about being totally in love with it. The base turned out absolutely stunning. So, I know I’ll be recreating it at some point! The squiggles design is really cool as well, but I would prefer it if each nail had the same color design. Skittles manicures just aren’t my thing, but there are some people out there who love them. So, let me know what you think! Are you a skittles manicure lover?
