Happy Wednesday lovelies! We are halfway through the work week and to celebrate, I’m sharing two floral designs with you guys. Yep, you read that correctly. TWO NAIL ART DESIGNS FILLED WITH FLOWERS. Was it really necessary to scream that last statement at you? Probably not, but flowers make me happy and I hope they make you feel the same. So, let’s get onto the nails before this introduction gets even more out of hand!
Here is what I used:
Today is also the start of February, and the Challenge Your Nail Art group is back to posting this month! The plan is for the challenges to be every other month and only require one manicure a week. So, if that’s something you might be interested in joining, check out the Facebook group: here. Most of the prompts for this month revolve around Valentines Day. But, I really don’t like painting Valentines nail art, so that’s why you’re seeing blue florals in this post! Also, this 1970’s floral fabric from antiquefabric.com (it’s back!) was calling my name and it just happened to end up on my nails.
- Start by applying three coats of Morgan (press sample.)
- Then using the dry brush technique add on a little bit of The Lake District (press sample.)
- Once the base is dry, use acrylic paint and a detail brush to add on the flowers.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Tonic Topper.
This post got a bit ramble-y, so I’ll keep this outro short. I’m obviously in love with this look, because anything with flowers is going to win my heart over. Blue is my favorite nail polish color too, so yeah, it’s safe to say I’m obsessed. Make sure to leave me a comment letting me know what you think!
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! Check back later for some more nail art!
