Hello lovelies! Super late post tonight, meh. Today has just not been my day. But, I don’t want to ramble on about it because that’s dumb. Plus, it’s time for another Digit-al Dozen week. So, that makes everything better! This month we’re taking on the theme of December. It sounds pretty generic, but I’m loving the fact that it’s not forcing us to paint holiday manicures. My first look is all about polar bears, so let’s get to it!
Here is what I used:
So, I know polar bears exist year round but I feel like December would probably be their favorite month if they had one. Which is totally my justification for painting these haha. Plus, this pattern by Hawthorne Threads was just too adorable. I knew that I needed to paint these little guys on my nails. The one on my ring finger is waving, and I just want to hug him (even though I’m low-key scared of bears…)
- Start by applying two (or three?) coats of Warm Woolen Mittens.
- Add some polka dots of Nystagmus (press sample – previously reviewed here.)
- Then using acrylic paint and a detail brush, paint on the polar bears.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a layer of Glossy Glam.
So, what do you guys think? Clearly, I’m smitten with this look. Not only are the polar bears cute, but Warm Woolen Mittens is a beautiful polish! Those purple and blue flakies are stunning against the grey base. I picked this polish up from a destash, but after using this beauty I’m super interested in trying out more from this brand! Do you have a favorite polish from Polished For Days? Let me know down below!
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! Make sure to check out the blogs down below for more December inspired nails!
