Good evening lovelies! It feels like it’s been forever since I’ve blogged, but my last post was only three days ago. This weekend was a little weird with some ups and downs, and I ended up going home to visit family so I was fairly removed from anything nail related. But, I got a new phone this weekend and I’m so excited! My iPhone 4s was almost four years old and the biggest pain to use, so I upgraded to a 7 Plus! The camera on it is awesome and I love it haha. Anyways, nail polish. I finally have my last Digit-al Dozen decades look to share with you and this time it’s all about the 1970s!
Here is what I used:
Told you guys that I did a full week of florals! You guys just had to wait for the last one haha. One of these months I’ll get it together and get all of my DD posts up on time. But moving on! This print was inspired by this fabric from antiquefabric.com. And yes. I promise to take a break from this website for a little bit because I’m sure you’re all sick of hearing about it 😛
- Start by applying two coats of Nova (gift.)
- Then add a layer of Oh My!! (gift) over top.
- Once the base is dry, paint on the floral pattern with acrylics and a detail brush. I started by laying down the white flowers and then going back in to add the darker details.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a coat of Glossy Glam.
And that is a wrap! Even though I was late getting all of posts up, I’m really happy with what I did for this month’s theme. Everything was floral print, but it was fun to explore a bunch of different styles. That is definitely something I hope to do more of in the future. Red nails aren’t usually something I like, but I loved these! The experimenting was a success haha. But, make sure to leave me a comment down below with your thoughts on this look. Also, let me know what you would have done for 1970s nails!
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! Make sure to visit the other wonderful ladies below!
