Good evening lovelies! Wow, this is going up way later than I intended it to. This week is absolutely kicking my butt…like seriously kicking it. I can’t remember the last time I’ve felt this tired, and the saddest part is that it’s only Tuesday. Meh, guess who is not getting out of bed this weekend. THIS GIRL. Anyways, nails. That’s what this blog is about. So, I’m back again with another floral look for The Digit-al Dozen week. This time we’re talking about a star, so let’s get to it!
Here is what I used:
Yesterday, there were some 1920s inspired florals on the blog so it only made sense to feature some from the 1930s today. This fabric from antiquefabric.com was the inspiration for these. Which, I think it’s safe to say that I’m obsessed with that site because every single one of my Digit-al Dozen looks was inspired by something off of it haha. Whoops!
- Start by applying two coats of Power (press sample.)
- Then add a layer of Follies over that.
- Once the base is dry, paint on the pattern using only white acrylic paint and a detail brush.
- Go back over some of the larger bits of the design with ATV In Aruba.
- Outline the star flowers with light pink acrylic paint.
- Clean up.
- Finish with a layer of Glossy Glam.
I’m trying so hard to try and keep this post focused, but man, my eyes are fighting me hard right now haha. So, I’ll wrap this post up by saying that I enjoy these nails! They’re a bit different from my usual style, but I’m digging the little geometric shapes mixed with the stars. Make sure to leave me a comment down below letting me know what you think!
Thank you guys so, so much for reading! Also, thank you guys for all of the support on yesterday’s nail art. You guys are seriously the best<3
